Local Burglaries

Dear Residents,

We are writing to inform you of a recent increase in residential burglaries in the Daneshouse area. While our officers are actively investigating these incidents and increasing patrols, we also rely on the vigilance and cooperation of our community to help keep our neighbourhoods safe.

We ask all residents to remain alert and take the following precautions:

1. Ensure doors, windows and garages are locked when unattended. 
2. Consider exterior lighting or motion-sensor lights where possible. 
3. Avoid leaving valuables visible from outside your home. 
4. Report any suspicious persons, vehicle or activity by calling 999 or dialling 101. Alternatively you can make a report online.

Your awareness and prompt reporting can play a critical role in preventing crime and assisting our investigations. Together we can reduce the risk of further incidents and maintain the safety of our community.
